How did I get here?
I didn't know I loved photography until my husband bought me my first camera as an anniversary gift.
I have always known photographs were important, because I lost my mother at 6 years of age and with that being all I had left, I cherished the few I have. This has impressed upon me the paramount need to capture great photos and is the driving force behind my lens.
My husband Josh assists as my second shooter which does two great things...
- It allows him to horseshoe around me to catch alternative angles that I would otherwise miss. This leads to benefit number two.
- It allows us to offer you full gallery with diversity.
My approach
Although we will give you posing prompts to capture traditional poses, we're also intentional about capturing candid moments that tell your story. This means that sometimes I will give an off-the-wall posing prompt that makes everyone bust into genuine laughter, and I take my shot. Or we'll give prompts like tag or tickle fights to catch the playful moments that too often go uncaptured in a family.
We provide each client with pre-session tips and style guidance that will allow them to do their part in helping us create the style of imagery they see throughout our portfolio.

I cannot recommend Hazel and her husband Joshua enough! We did our engagement photos with them.
